Vision To Reopen Lake Ellen Bible Camp

Dear friends, family, and partners in ministry,

      We stand at a pivotal moment for Lake Ellen Bible Camp. As we look toward the future, we have an opportunity to not just plan another camp; we are seeking God to give a new legacy of faith in our families, children and teens. This month, the window of opportunity to purchase 95 acres and all the buildings of Lake Ellen Camp is available.  Under Bay Lakes Baptist Association and a new board of directors, we plan to reestablish Lake Ellen Camp with a mission built on the core purpose of Evangelism and Renewal.   We look to be a place of Evangelism, where the lost are found and where new believers learn to walk with Christ.  Renewal of faith, Lake Ellen can be where the weary find rest and be refreshed in faith.        

         There are grants available to run and develop the camp but there are still the basic purchase funds needed for the property.  We have about a month to raise pledges of $1 Million.  We believe God can still use this camp for His purposes to win the next generation for Christ and renew his people.  We are looking for those that would partner with us to invest in this kingdom work of Lake Ellen Bible Camp both for the purchase right now and for the future support of the camp.  Pledges can be made by following the pledge tab or email admin@lakeellenbiblecamp.com.

No money needs to be sent until we know the purchase is able to move forward. At that time you would be approached to fulfill your pledge. If you have additional contacts you can make please feel free to spread the word. We are working with limited email lists left from Lake Ellen Camp's old computers and contacts we have made of others wishing to see the camp renewed over the last 4 years. This is why you may have received this email multiple times as we attempt to clean up these lists.
